Elecosoft still growing
There are two new faces at Elecosoft this month, with Lily Harley and Danny Harrington-Sage joining the team.
Lily has joined as Client Services Manager, responsible for managing client relationships and making sure clients get the best service. Her previous role was as an account manager at RS Components in Corby.
“So far, I’m enjoying my new role,” she says. “Everyone has been very welcoming. My favourite thing about the centre is the café, especially the avocado on toast.”
Danny is an IT Systems Engineer, maintaining and managing IT infrastructure and supporting the software developers. “The easiest way to understand the difference is a software engineer is responsible for building and maintaining the software running on a computer, whereas a system engineer maintains the computer that software runs on,” he says.
Previously, Danny was in IT support at WPS Advisory Ltd. “I really like it at Elecosoft,” he says. “All my co-workers are great and I’m enjoying the games room.”
Harborough Innovation Centre is owned and supported by Harborough District Council (HDC). As the building owner HDC also funds the Centre’s business support provision, providing the basis for expert business advice, mentoring and workshops.
Heritage settles in to HIC
One of our Pioneer 10 competitors, Heritage Archaeology, has now moved into the centre, and is looking to grow after what has been a successful first year in business.
IFA moves onwards and upwards
After four years at HIC, Intelligent Financial Advisory (IFA) has moved on. The team has performed so well in that time that it has finally outgrown the centre, and has taken on new offices of its own in Lutterworth.
Recruitment guru wins Harborough district business award
