Salad Skills’ warming gesture
This year, instead of sending Christmas cards, Salad Skills will be donating money to provide gift bags for the homeless.
The bags – known as KipBags – cost £15 each and contain a sleeping bag, toiletries, socks, hat, plasters and a homeless information pack. These essential items make a real difference to people who don’t have a roof over their heads.
Salad Skills’ Sarah Cripps said: “This is a great way to make better use of the money we’d usually spend on Christmas cards. Here’s wishing everyone a fantastic Christmas from the Salad Gems!”
If you’d like to find out more and donate a KipBag or two yourself, visit the KipBag website.
