What is Innovation?
September 14 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
We have a special focus on Innovation this year, following Innovation Week in June 2021. Innovation is not a complex idea – it simply means doing things differently or thinking about things differently in order to make them better, cheaper, more effective, more efficient. Anyone can innovate. During the Lockdown, many businesses started offering click and collect services, takeaway and online ordering. These are innovations. If you can find a way of doing what you do better than your competitors – more cheaply, with a slightly different or completely different approach, using different greener materials or cutting out unnecessary complexity, that will help you establish a strong position in your market.
